God (Almighty and Majestic) imposed prayer on every Muslim, male and female, and made it the second pillar of Islam after the testimony that there is no God but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.
Prayer is the pillar of religion. Whoever establishes it has established religion. God has imposed five prayers on every Muslim every day and night, and prayer has a great value in Islam. God imposed it on all of the best of human beings, our Master Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) during the journey of Isra and Miraj, and the number of them was fifty prayers. However, our master Musa (peace be upon him) had advised our noble Messenger to return to his Lord many times to ask him to reduce the number of prayers, telling him that his nation would not tolerate that.
Therefore, the Messenger continued to refer to his Lord until the number of prayers reached five, after which the Messenger (upon him be the best of prayers) felt ashamed and completed the submission to return to his Lord to ask Him to reduce it.
A supplication before prayer - the opening supplication
Prayer is the first thing that a person will be held accountable for on the Day of Resurrection, so if it is correct, all his deeds will be correct, and if it is corrupt, he will be disappointed and lost. Volunteer to complete what is missing from the obligatory prayer.
And prayer is the apple of the eye of the Holy Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace), and we have been commanded to teach children to it from the age of seven and to beat them for leaving it from the age of ten to get used to it from childhood, and the last commandment of the Messenger was to maintain prayer.
Prayer is the link between the servant and his Lord, and the obligatory prayers are linked to the call to prayer and at the times prescribed by the Sharia. Prayer has etiquette when entering it, during its performance, and when it is completed.
There are multiple supplications before the prayer, the most famous of which is the supplication before the prayer I turned my face:
“I directed my face to the One Who created the heavens and the earth as Hanif, and I am not of the polytheists. Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death belong to God, Lord of the worlds, He has no partner, and with that I have been commanded, and I am of the Muslims.”
And there too
O Allah, You are the King, there is no god but You, You are my Lord and I am Your servant, I have wronged myself, I have confessed my sin, so forgive me all my sins, for no one forgives sins except You, and guide me to the best of morals, for no one guides to the best of them except You, and turn away from me its bad that only You can turn away from me its bad. You, at your service and at your pleasure, and the good is in your hands, and the evil is not from you.
What is said before prayer?
The invocation of prayer has a great virtue, as it is a confirmed Sunnah from the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace), as these supplications contain praise and praise to God (the Exalted and Majestic), and it contains an acknowledgment by the humiliated servant of God’s greatness and divinity, glory be to Him, and acknowledgment to Him (the Exalted) of servitude to Him alone, with no partner. for him.
Dua before Fajr prayer
The time of dawn is one of the times when supplication is answered, and there are several supplications before the dawn prayer that are desirable, and the remembrances before the dawn prayer are among the remembrances narrated from the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace).
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every stubborn tyrant, and a rebellious Satan, and from the evil of doing evil, and from the evil of every animal whose forelock you take, for my Lord is on a straight path. We declare you to be unbelievers, and we leave those who declare you to be unbelievers.”
It is preferable to supplicate half an hour before the Fajr prayer, because it is at the end of the night time, when God (the Almighty) descends to the heavenly heavens and responds to those who call on Him and forgives those who seek His forgiveness.
A prayer before the dawn prayer
“O Allah, guide us to whom You have guided, and heal us to whom You have pardoned, and take care of us with whom You have taken care of, and bless us in what You have given, and protect us and turn away from us the evil of what You have ordained.
Dua before Friday prayers
“My Lord, make me thankful to You, reminding You, humble and repentant to You, my Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my grievances, answer my prayers, and answer my prayers.” And guide my heart, and direct my tongue, and infiltrate the wickedness of my heart.”
Dua before noon prayer
Praise at that time and the morning remembrances are among the best acts of welcoming the new day. What the morning remembrances carry in terms of supplications and the Qur’an is sufficient to fill the day with goodness and blessing and bring sustenance, health and happiness.
We became upon the nature of Islam, the word of devotion, the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace), and the religion of our father Abraham, the Hanif, and he was not of the polytheists.
Oh God, whatever blessing and well-being has come upon me or with one of your creation, it is from you alone, you have no partner.
A supplication before Maghrib prayer
- Supplication before worship is one of the reasons for warding off calamities, increasing good, and repelling evil, provided that supplication is linked to good faith in God (the Almighty), and the certainty that God is near and answers the supplication of the supplicant if he calls upon him.
- The time of sunset is like bidding farewell to a past day in our lives, and after it we welcome a new day that God has blessed us with. Among the supplications it is desirable to say at this time and at the time of the Maghrib call to prayer: “Oh God, enlighten my path, forgive me my sins, and fulfill for me what is good for me and what I wish for, O Lord of the Worlds. Oh God, purify my heart, explain my chest, make me happy, accept my prayers and all your obedience, and answer my prayers.
- This is and the time of Maghrib is one of the best times when it is desirable to repeat the remembrances before the Maghrib prayer or the evening remembrances, because of the goodness and blessings they bear. Evening Remembrances Then he dies on that day or night, he will enter Paradise because his balance has been filled with the great reward.
- Every Muslim must adhere to prayer and supplication, and the remembrance of Allah’s takbeer, glorification and tahleel until he attains the promise of Allah (the Mighty and Sublime) to be freed from the fire and attain the highest heavens.
A supplication before the evening prayer
There is a supplication to ask for sustenance, and it is desirable to say it at the time of dinner, which is: “Oh God, I ask you to provide me with lawful, ample, and good sustenance without fatigue, hardship, harm, or fatigue, for you are capable of everything.”
