  • “Lord, expand our breasts, ease our affairs, and loosen the knot from our tongues so that they understand what we say.”
  • “Oh God, I have entrusted you with all my affairs, so make it good with whatever you want, and make me, O Lord, one of those whom you look at and have mercy on, and whose supplication you hear and answer.”

Morning prayers for Friday

Friday is one of the favorite days of God (glory be to Him), and it has this merit and distinction among Muslims, as God distinguished it with the hour of answering the supplication and the Friday prayer, and the Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) distinguished him by recommending prayers upon him a lot on this day, and reading Surat Al-Kahf is of great virtue. For all of this, the Muslim is interested in supplication on this blessed day, and among these supplications are:

  • O Allah, O Living, O Sustainer, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, guide us in those whom You have guided, and heal us in those whom You have pardoned, and eliminate from us, with Your mercy, the evil of what You have decreed. And what we secretly and what we declared, and what you know best, you are the presenter and you are the backer, and you are capable of everything.
  • Oh God, the light of the heavens and the earth, the pillar of the heavens and the earth, the mighty of the heavens and the earth, the judge of the heavens and the earth, the inheritor of the heavens and the earth, the owner of the heavens and the earth, the great of the heavens and the earth, the knowledge of the heavens and the earth, the sustainer of the heavens and the earth, the merciful of the world And the Most Merciful of the Hereafter, O God, I extended my hand to You, and in Your presence my great desire, so accept my repentance, have mercy on the weakness of my strength, forgive my sin, accept my excuses, and make for me a share of all good, and to all good a way, with your mercy, O Most Merciful of the Merciful.

The importance of morning supplications comes from the time you mention them at the beginning of your day to avoid misfortune and harm, so that God opens before you the doors of sustenance and facilitates your affairs in your work and on your way, and for this reason the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace) recommended them in many of the noble hadiths of the Prophet, and the following are some of them: 

  • On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said: “Whoever says in the morning and in the evening: Glory be to God and praise be to Him a hundred times, no one will come on the Day of Resurrection with something better than what he brought except for someone who said the same as what he said or added to it.”
  • The Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) in the evening would say: “Even and evening is the kingdom of God, and praise be to God, there is no god but God alone, He has no partner. In You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from laziness and bad old age, and I seek refuge in You from the torment of the Fire and the torment of the grave.
  • The Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him) used to teach his companions, so he would say: “If one of you became in the morning, let him say, “O God, with you we have become, and with you we have come to an evening, and with you we live, and with you we die, and to you is the destiny.”

Ornate morning prayers

Ornate supplications are a kind of monologue to God (Glory be to Him) and an attempt to talk to Him, get closer to Him, and praise Him for what He has bestowed upon His servant.

  • Oh Lord ~ ​​Thoughts are disappointed except in You, Hope is disappointed except in You.
  • My Lord, do not deprive me of it, my Lord, do not distance me from it [it is] my refuge, my love. I am not tired of existence.
  • Lord, fill my heart with sins || And I am the one who fears forgiveness and repentance.
  • “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your grace, the transformation of Your health, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all Your wrath.”
  • Lord, grant me a lifetime to force the fractures of my soul, and do not break me with them more.

Morning supplications to bring livelihood

The supplications for sustenance are among the most important supplications that the servant resorts to to his Lord, always in the morning time, hoping that God will ease his affairs and expand his sustenance for him. the morning:

  • “O God, grant me a sustenance that you do not make for anyone in it or in the Hereafter a liability, with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.”
  • O Lord, this morning, grant us a wreath of comfort and calm, spread happiness at the doors of our hearts, surround us with safety and tranquility, make us a way out of every distress, and grant us what we wish from where we do not count. Oh God, who is in the hands of managing matters, O world of what the breasts hide, forgive me and those in my heart whose love is in my heart, and bless me and those whose remembrance is in my mind.

The virtue of morning supplications

Many Muslims tend to hear supplications or see them through radio and television means and follow them, and with every supplication the Muslim mentions the word “Amen” behind the sheikh, and this is due to the multiplicity of supplications that are repeated by his tongue.

The sounds of supplications are raised in the house to give an atmosphere of blessing inside, and the virtue is similar whether the Muslim is called by himself or he repeats behind the sheikh. The important thing is that you do not stray from supplication as if you are straying from God. And there is nothing better than the morning prayers that you start your day with and connect you to your Lord, Lord of the Worlds. 

Morning prayer time

Opinions differed about the times of the morning prayers, and there are two opinions in this regard:

  • The first opinion: Religious scholars believe that the time for morning supplications starts from the time of dawn until sunrise and sunrise during this time only.
  • The second opinion: This opinion differs with the first opinion at the end of the morning time, meaning that one can start his morning prayers at dawn and continue until before noon, and this opinion finds that all this time is considered a morning period, and the two opinions are reliable and according to one’s convictions, the important thing is that Reh arrives and this is the purpose of the supplication.
